How do I enroll in a course and how soon I can start?
Enrollment is simple! You can enroll via the website or call 281-475-1356 or 844-394-2225. You can also text 281-475-1356 or email info@betterjourney to enroll.
How do the payment plans work?
We offer flexible payment plans. Once enrollment fee is completed, you will set a payment plan that works best for you either weekly, every other week or monthly payments.
When will my probation officer be notified of my enrollment?
Your PO will be notified as soon as you complete the intake paperwork which will be emailed to once enrollment is completed.
How do payment plans work?
Once you pay your initial payment to enroll, you will receive intake paperwork with a payment plan agreement, and you will set up your payment arrangements during the intake process. You can select weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments.
What happens after I enroll?
After you enroll, an enrollment packet with be emailed to you. You will select a class which will be your assigned class, and you will receive an email with the zoom link.
How do I get my certificate?
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate can be presented to the court or any relevant authority as proof of completing a DWI education program.
Are your courses court-approved?
Yes, all of our programs are approved by all US Probation courts, including all Texas courts.
How long do the classes last? Do I have to have my camera on?
Yes, when completing virtual classes via zoom, your camera must be on throughout the duration of class.
Our SOP classes are 1-2 hours long.
IOP classes are 2-3 hours long.
Can I get a refund if I’m unable to complete the program?
Refund policies vary based on the specifics of your case and the terms of the program. Please refer to our refund policy in the intake packet or contact our office for detailed information. Refunds are not granted for noncompliance with attendance rules. However, we will allow you to enroll in a future class at no cost as long as approved by program administrator. Program rule violation will result in removal from the program and forfeiture of registration fee.
Can I complete SOP quicker than 90 days?
The accelerated IOP and SOP program has strict criteria that must be met to enroll, please see below:
1st time DWI offender or 1st time drug offender
Offense must be a misdemeanor
Never undergone treatment before
Must complete Substance Use screening and Evaluation
Probation Officer must be in agreement with recommendation to accelerate treatment
